People may have notice the slow down in updates. There are several reasons for this. The first is I was working on something that I hope will make it easier to do experimentation and while slow was making steady progress. The second was that I'm mostly done with the game as a game for a while. The third is I've had some health issues for past couple of weeks/months and don't have the energy and time to dedicate a lot to this and most of that has been trying debug/troubleshoot other peoples problems with limited information.
I'm still working on an experimental branch which I may fork in 2 to try and see if I can solve the inability to load the mod for some people and then continuing current branch to offer more editing options for things around clans. The latter will be slower since the edit/reload/test cycle is annoying right now.
Update: For those wondering health is getting better. Covid is no fun, just saying. So I'm putting this project on hold. I'll probably do updates of existing working fork (to degree that it works for some people). I not been able to get .net core 3.1 loaded in to M&B2 which I hoped would allow me to ship assemblies that work exactly as I need but it does not work. Also wanted to get Python console to load to allow faster edits. I got that loaded but still requires quite a bit of work to be useful. I may return in the future but I'm publishing my current source if anyone wants to fork and continue it but latest version does not load in current form.
yes indeed... as much as i appreciate people creating mods, i rather have them not release them at all if they can't be bothered to also maintain them - that's why i never publish any mods myself. at the very least they should give someone else the code to continue their work (as some mod authors do, luckily for us)... alas, so now i either have to waste more time finding a working wheel...ehm... editor or i have reinvent (code) the damn thing myself again... f. my life...
If anyone is looking for an alternative mod until this one is updated here is one. Here is one {Cheat mod}. and the main one here [Character Reload]??
It's not as good because you cannot add troops. but you can add any items, you can change the attributes and skills of any character etc... it's a good alternative
I can't get this to work on 1.5.2 reg update. I went in and changed the key like described in the description but I keep getting this in the debug-- Method not found: 'System.String TaleWorlds.Core.ItemModifier.get_ID()'
Has anyone had any luck getting this to work on 1.5.2? If so can you help me out?
I managed to find the working version of your mod. Unfortunately, it is in Chinese. I tried to translate the config.json file to change the language of the columns but it's not working... Any ideas how can I sort it? Or maybe you have an English translation for the Chinese version of the mod? Just UI need to be translated.
Dev is there a way to edit what companions or regular troops wear using your editor? I have 100 companions and I was hoping to copy paste their equipment so that I would not have to do it all by hand. Last playthrough it took forever haha.
