A massive overhaul to improve the visual look of all troops that make them look more realistic and also distinguishing troops between other factions and Lords.
Whats different from most other troop mods?
- This is vanilla based so no extra units/troops or troop trees that may mess with your save.
- Lots of other mods use the same armour and clothing for different factions (this mod distinguishes them)
- Unique customised looking troops to distinguish from other factions
- Included my "Distinguish Lords mod" that makes normal troops look less like Lords.
- Only visual - no armour/item stats have been changed so fully compatible with all battle mods
- Balanced what units wear to keep the campaign and battles more balanced
- Massive overhaul for Sturgian's to look more like Vikings
- Massive overhaul of Vlandia to be more European Medieval looking
- Low tier troops look better and like low tier troops
- Easier to distinguish what troops are what on the battlefields
- Only Lords have Lord/noble and crowned helmets.
- Our own realistic style unit presets
- Save game safe and easy removal that does not mess with a save game

Even if 100% future changes will still be made for balancing and when new Bannerlord content comes out.
Why I created this mod?
I decided to make this mod as I have lost my job due to the current lockdown situation.
And now have time to play Bannerlord and the creativeness and ocd in me loves to work on things that make the game look and feel better.
I have noticed that Bannerlord could look even better and have better style of troops just by changing the items and clothing of troops whats in the Bannerlord pool.
I have spent 12 hours a day for a about 4 days working on this mod (yes i need a life) tweaking, making errors, starting from scratch, testing, balancing and editing hundreds of lines.
So now the changes are at a stage that is ready to be played and can happily see some difference in the style of troops.
Future/Update Suggestions:
Open to discuss future and update suggestions to make the mod and troops look even better and keeping the game balanced. Willing to expand everything and add more detail and features in the future with expanded optional versions.
Added a Alternative Sturgia RUS version - so half the units will be Rus style and half Viking (As requested)
Installation:
Download and extract the zip file and place "Modules" folder in Steam\steamapps\common\Mount & Blade II Bannerlord\
Compatibility:
- Fully compatible with all mods apart from other troop overhaul mods
- Fully compatible with battle realism mods, item/armour mods.
- I have about 20 mods loaded so its compatible with near enough everything
- Future proof, if your game updates then Bannerlord will still work
- Save game safe, removal safe to your save game.
