I apologise for the long wait everyone. Wrath of the Northmen has now been updated to the latest patch for Bannerlord.
I am very busy living between two houses and working 3 jobs so sadly I do not have as much time as a I used to to be able focus on keeping this mod updated. I will always try my best to continue to update this mod and I am always very happy to hear any and all feedback.
If you have any issues please do reply to this post or feel free to send me a private message.
It would be helpful if the author could specify the supported version of the mod.
I tested this mod without any other mods on beta 1.2 and I got instant crash after launching. The error log is the following. ERROR: Error: The 'duel_preset' attribute is not declared. Node: duel_preset Value: NPCCharacter.empire_duel_preset Line: 34
So I think it is just that the factions stay the same name wise, but Sturgia's troops seem like they're more viking. I don't know if that's from this mod or not tbh. But I still have it enabled.
Hi there, so this mod does not replace factions/cultures it replaces the troops of the sturgian factions. Same Heroes, Locations, Faction colours etc. but the recruitable troops are new!
Thank you! this is my favorite troops overhaul mod, but there's one tiny problem that I've had which I hope it could be fixed is that it's not 100% compatible with other culture's troop overhaul mods.
For example if I have this mod installed along with let's say a Vlandia troops mod what happens is that the recruitable troops in vlandian towns and villages remains vanilla. I saw another mod author said that the problem could be from this mod containing other cultures' coding therefore causing a conflict.
I know you're planning to update other cultures' troops down the line which I'm very excited for! But before that gets released is it possible if we can have a lightweight version that only includes coding of Sturgian troops?
So this will likely be due to both mods using the sp.cultures file.
You could try removing the sp.culture file from this mod and then open the file in your other culture mod. press Shift+F and then search for "warrior_son". This should take you to these two consecutive lines:
This should mean the game is only running one culture file at a time and there should be no conflicts with which sturgian troops are recruitable form Towns and Villages.
I hope this helps, any more issues please do give me a message!

Thanks in advance :)
You could try removing the sp.culture file from this mod and then open the file in your other culture mod. press Shift+F and then search for "warrior_son". This should take you to these two consecutive lines:
elite_basic_troop="NPCCharacter.sturgian_warrior_son"
basic_troop="NPCCharacter.sturgian_recruit"
Change these by adding "_new" on the end and then save and you are done. Like so:
elite_basic_troop="NPCCharacter.sturgian_warrior_son_new"
basic_troop="NPCCharacter.sturgian_recruit_new"
This should mean the game is only running one culture file at a time and there should be no conflicts with which sturgian troops are recruitable form Towns and Villages.
