Awesome, wanted a mod doing only that, easy and light. Don't wanted the many options in sounds the alarm, so that's perfect.

    Heya

Sound the Alarm already does this. ^^

Sound the alarm does way too much.

I don't want to be stopped every time a nation goes to war or anything trivial like that. I want to know the important bits like a castle being attacked.

In the original mod, everything is customizable. That sounds like an excuse.

      Hi,

I was not aware of the existence of "Sound the Alarm".
Before creating this mod, I just search for "Siege" to see if something already existed and I found nothing. So I decided to create this mod. I should have searched better ^^

Do not let trolls get you down, so what, you made mod that is almost same as other one. SO WHAT!!! Maybe the other one abandons mod and do not update it and you stay. See its a win for all. Ignore the trolls, you make whatever you want.

I dont use Sound the Alarm mod due to requirement of Modlib...since this mod does not require Modlib i'll give it a try.

Sound the Alarm doesn't have the track feature built in to the interface AFAIK. Cool mod.

How bringing attention to another mod with the same concept is being a troll?
Though I do agree that if it does something differently, then the existence of the mod shouldn't be questioned.

One wonders and ponders the difference between this mod and SoundTheAlarm which was uploaded way earlier.

Small but great mod!!!. Also tells when a town/castle is not under siege anymore, and you can then decide to untrack it. Nice.

Does this mod let you know if the fiefs that belong to your vassals are under attack? Not just the ones that belong to you?

Yes. If you are a king, you will be warned for any castle/city besieged in your kingdom.

This mod should be compatible with all version of the game. I have currently the beta 1.3.0 and it works perfectly.

Hmm interesting. How about an option to just automatically track a city while it is under siege, and stop tracking whenever the siege is over? No popups, no need to do anything, it just shows up on your map as tracked. Options for all cities vs only your affiliated ones would be great, too.
