MAP OF WESTEROS
(and Essos, actually)
While other mods give you banners and noble houses of Westeros and Essos, I decided to work in another direction. We don't have modding tools yet, but we still want to play in Westeros to write our own Song of Ice and Fire, right? So I thought to myself: "I can turn Calradia into something that will resemble the world of "Game of Thrones". (and Essos, actually)
And yes, after a couple of days of research and iterations I made that. 100% of towns, castles and even villages are reworked and renamed.
I know, sometimes it can be a complete mess (yes, Dorne, I'm talking about you - and I am sorry, but Summer Isles are now a part of Dorne), and without other mods it will be... strange (for example the whole Wall is now a part of Sturgia (which is believed to be the Free Folk), or the Free cities under the feet of Khuzaits-Dothraki). But I really tried my best to make it easier for you to imagine Westeros and Essos there.
I must thank here creators of "Game of Thrones" mod for Crusader Kings 2, and creators of all ASoIaF wikies and proper interactive maps. And, of course, G.R.R.Martin and HBO (for popularization, not for the last season)
Plus, go check Dromundas's Families of Westeros mod. Just install my mod after "Families", 'cause mine overrides "settlements.xml".
Obviously, mod is not compatible with other mods that change "settlements.xml" (if there are any right now).
