Just an idea. Is there anyway to combine this mod with Ultimate Banner Editor. I also hate how when you promote a companion to a vassal they also pick a generic banner. Ultimate Banner Editor allows you to edit your vassals banners, but its no where as detailed or customizable as BannerPaste.
I am experiencing an error on version 1.7.2 and i don't really know how to fix it I installed the 1.7.2 version of BannerPaste, but each time i open the banner editor it has the following error:
?Could not load type 'TaleWorlds.Engine.Screens.ScreenLayer' from assembly 'TaleWorlds.Engine, Version=1.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null'.
BannerPaste is broken as of 1.7.2 and as far as I know there's no expectation for it to be updated. As such, BannerColorPersistence, which you probably should be running anyway if you're trying to paste banners, has added the pasting logic.

This occured while in 1.7.2 beta branch as well. Not sure if I can change a few things in the module to fix it, like version maybe.
