Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord

This is a very brief tutorial for Scum and Villainy; a lot of initial features are hidden until you get higher levels of Roguery, have enough denars at your disposal or if you have a high enough criiminal rating. This is all intended as criminals aren't known to be very trusting if you have not made a name for yourself or if you have enough money.

Troops

The main feature of this mod was always the addition of a large amount of troops based on banditry and organized crime. There are over hundred new troops, with more than six expansive troop trees. To bring these into the world, there are over a hundred new parties roaming the map. These parties spawn and increase in size over time. Large, unique parties will not spawn until later in the game, so the game is not immediately flooded with unbeatable parties for the player. Certain special parties will not spawn until 100+ days into the game. However, there should be smaller spawns since day 1. In your log bottom-left you can see when a special group spawns and sometimes where they spawn.

Patrols and Special Spawns

The main thing S&V does is add new parties to the overworld. These include criminal and bandit parties, but also parties to each faction.

Special spawns for factions are:
- Woodcutters
- Miners
- Harvesters
- Hunters
- Fishermen

These spawns hold items associated with their names (i.e. woodcutters carry more wood; fishermen have large amounts of fish, miners carry ores).

Similarly, bandit spawns such as thieves and smugglers carry much more loot. Specifically there are events where a Black Market disbands in towns which causes thieves and smugglers to flee the city; this is a good opportunity to attack them and take their loot.
