Thanks to good feedback we had alot of info on where parties got stuck on the map. Del went at it hammer and tongs and now the vast majority of the hotspots have been cleared away. You may still get the occassional stuck party but nothing like before.

Bretonnian heraldry:

You1 showed more love to the Bretonnian faction in this update. Bretonnian fans would have noticed that whilst the infantry troops have their lord's heraldry on their armour and shields, that knights have their own individual heraldry. You1 has pretty much doubled the amount of heraldry in the mod to 83 different kinds.

Changes to the special items:

I have added about 17 or 18 new special items into the game so you have a bigger variety of choice for yourself and your companions. Also Markas is no longer alone, his brother Cyrus has also turned up and is also selling items for the same stipulations of level 15 or 5 tourney medals. If you want to buy melee and ranged weaponery you will have to see Markas and if you want to buy armour and shields you will have to see Cyrus. The face of Markas is finally fixed too.

Faction specific merchants:

Del's brainflash has come into fruition. In the tavern of each main town of every faction is a merchant who sells merchandise specific for that faction. You can tell who they are as they will be showing off their best gear and also they will have " the merchant" in their name :|

The goods do not refresh like normal merchants but there is alot in them for your needs and you can of course still buy from ordinary merchants. The Dwarf, High Elf and occassionally the Chaos merchant can appear in glitchy positions but no matter what scene entrance I changed it to they wouldn't move, also sometimes goods I put in the inventory don't show due to inventories being maxxed (the amount of squares on the screen isn't equal to the actual limit) but I think you will be 90% happy with what I have done.

Stat tweaks:

I have made a few stat tweaks here and there, noticably to the flintlock pistol and the nightmare health (although the mesh glitch remains for now) as well as other troops and items. Other areas include the strength requirements of Orc gear and also the intelligence ratings have been lowered on lower level companions.

Some armours have been reduced in price and most noticably I have lowered the price of mercenary armour and helmets to give players access to a cheaper range when they may need it at the start.

Beastmen gear is now lootable so you can become a beastman through loot if you like.


You can now loot food and goods from the bandit parties:

I figured that as bandits make a career out of robbing farmers of their goods it is a bit weird that when you enact your retribution on them that they have no goods on them bar their weapons and occassionally armour. So I have now made it so that you can loot goods and food from them.

Tournaments and quests:

I noticed that crossbows and bows were about as strong as a nerf n-strike with the previous stats and the ability to wear proper armour so they got a bit of a boost.

Also the amount you get for completing the caraven delivery quest from the guildmasters has increased because to be fair they can be a bit of a trek.

Also I have jazzed up the "nervous man" now, no longer is he wearing crappy clothes and wielding a low end sword


An addition to the Vampire Counts troop tree:

The Vampire Counts troop tree was slightly small and slightly underpowered compared to the other factions so there has been a new addition to the tree in the form of the "Ghost" troop. These troops are the souls of dead Empire Greatswords who have been corrupted by the underworld and sent back to the living plain to reek havok on the world they were so viciously taken from.


General touchups:

The bug has been fixed where you have to retreat if you get knocked out even if your troops win the battle.

Some grammatical errors all over the mod have been addressed, the chaos marauder raider party issue has been fixed, troop weapons have been addressed (such as mounted marauders) and a missing Saurus body has been added.
