If you find any bugs, please report them in this mod's development forum, not here. This is a very early alpha version of my mod I am posting for help with bug-testing and/or for people who want a sneak-preview of the mod. There is still a LOT of work to be done. I have plans to alter most dialogues and quests, as well as add features not mentioned below.

[rule] Features[rule]
  • 8 Playable Races: Human, Elf, Dark Elf, Goblin, Orc, Zombie, Skeleton, and Ghost (transparent skeleton). Starting attributes, skills, and weapon proficiencies are affected by gender and race. (exact numbers may be tweaked later)
  • A completely redesigned map with 8 Kingdoms (each with expanded troop trees and equal territory) as well as expanded troop trees for outlaws and mercenaries.
  • Nearby enemy parties will now join forces against you.
  • 265 new items (85 horses, 38 helmets, 18 shields, 49 armors, 1 boots, 56 weapons, & 18 cloaks), plus several items not available in Native (including black armor) have been added back to the merchants.
  • Expanded recruitment options: 3 different recruits per kingdom at villages, hire rogues & mercenaries from tavernkeepers, greater variety of random hireable troops in taverns, and the NPC Necronus sells undead troops.
  • Tavernkeepers, Guild Masters, Tournament Masters, Ransom Brokers, and Travellers can now be recruited as companions. All have unique names or their hometown is included in their name.
  • Town/Village Walkers, Ransom Brokers, and Travellers are now a mixture of human, elf, dark elf, orc, and goblins. Town walkers in Tombstone are now undead. Merchants, Tavernkeepers, Tournament Masters, and Guild Masters are whatever race controls the town at the start of a new game.
  • Non-tournament arena fights now include a wider variety of opponents.
  • The following scripts have been added: Kingdom Management, Autoloot, Patrols, Troop Ratio Bar, and a Blackjack game.
  • Neutral location called Dragon's Death has its own tavern and an explorable dungeon featuring random encounters, treasure chests, and boss monsters (the dungeon is a WIP and will be expanded in future versions).
  • Undead now have new voices for when the get hit, when they die, etc.
  • New type of NPC, the Minstrel, will appear randomly in taverns, is recruitable, and can play music for you.
  • A new type of merchant has been added: the Black Marcket Merchant. There is one for each kingdom hidden somewhere in one of their towns. All kingdom-specific equipment has been removed from regular merchants and can now only be purchased from the Black Market Merchants or found as loot.
  • Players can now garrison troops in villages that they own.

Alpha v1.16: This version fixes a minor issue with the new undead voices. It also updates the equipment for the Goblin troops (though their lords and king still need to be updated) and adds a couple new helmets to the lower tier Saracens. In addition, there have been some minor changes to the dungeon including: new scene props; minor changes to the skeleton, ghost, and zombie spawns; and a new goblin encounter.

Alpha v1.17: This version adds some new armors for the Saracens, goblins, and orcs; and also updates the equipment of all saracen, orc, and goblin troops, lords, and kings. It also adds a new type of NPC to taverns, the Minstrel, who can play music for you. In addition, the Dragon's Death Dungeon has been slightly expanded (new encounters and exploration rewards to come soon). Also, a bug that prevented the regular companions from appearing in taverns has been fixed. This version also includes the Horde Lands music pack to be used in conjunction with the new Minstrels.

Alpha v1.18: This version adds 6 more songs and adds the option to play music from the camp menu if a minstrel is in your party; adds new armors and several other new items; fixes several bugs including a partial fix for the gender bug (only when referring to the payer in dialogue); adds some new encounters to the Dragon's Death Dungeon; changes the Dragon's Death map icon to the ruined village icon; and adds the option for players to garrison troops in villages they own.
