I ordered my troops to all use shields then fall back.
Next I ordered the archers to advance 30 paces and spread out as far as possible, to cover the troops moving the siege tower into position although a few ladders where in place.
Once the siege tower was at the walls, I gave the order for the infantry followed shortly by the cavalry (now on foot) charge.
Through a hail of arrows we made a rapid advance toward the fort with absolutely no cover and only shields for protection.
As the first troops on the walls engaged in melee combat I ordered the atchers forward gradually, then finally into hand to hand combat mopping up the last of the enemy troops.
