About this video

The southern-most city in the Reach, the fortress of Beorinhal sits along the border of the Sundered Hills, an inhospitable and mountainous region of canyons, gorges, mesas, and rocky terrain ill-suited for any type of agricultural pursuits. Home of Jarl Harir the Grey, the fortress city of Beorinhal has historically kept a watchful eye on the Skyrim-Hammerfell border, but since the War of Bend'r Mahk, Beorinhal is now well within Skyrim's borders, and has become a bit of a relic, no longer as important as it used to be. Still, the fortress is now used as a bastion against the native Reachmen tribes, who have significant holdings in the high reaches of the Sundered Hills.

Besides the city of Beorinhal, the region is home to numerous ancient ruins and towers, relics of past ages of war and conflict, as well as hidden Nordic barrows, and even the occasional bandit encampment. Far less civilized than the nearby regions of Karthwasten, the Sundered Hills are home to many potential dangers and opportunities for the would-be adventurer.

This flyby video shows only an early alpha look at the fortress of Beorinhal and the Sundered Hills region, and most likely, this area won't be released until the city of Markarth is released, which will likely be in a few years. But in the meantime, you can already check out the city of Karthwasten on the Nexus, and if you're interested in helping out with this project, check out the discord server and forums down below!
