About this video

Morrowind Modding Reviews is a new series dedicated to looking at one mod at a time and providing an actual narrated review with a numerical score based on a number of qualifications (see the chart below). Generally speaking, I have always tried to leave my personal opinion out of Morrowind Modding Showcases, so Morrowind Modding Reviews is a chance for me to provide a review and feedback for a particular mod.

If there's a mod you would like me to review next, please let me know in the comments below! Morrowind Modding Reviews will (after this episode) air on every-other Thursday, in-between episodes of Let's Mod Morrowind.

For our first review, we're looking at Splinter Manor by Spokorni, a fairly large and unique house mod originally released in 2009 and inspired by an old Unreal Tournament map.

Scoring System Chart:

  • 2 Points - Function (mod does what it's supposed to)
  • 1.5 Points - Quality (Immersion, little details, etc...)
  • 0.5 Points - No Dirty References (related to mod cleaning)
  • 0.5 Points - No GMSTs (related to mod cleaning)
  • 0.25 Points - No Construction Errors (obvious physical bugs in the mod)
  • 0.25 Points - No Junk Cells (related to mod cleaning)
Total Points Possible: 5

Splinter Manor can be downloaded here
Note: Also Features an Alchemy and Scroll Sorter
Note 2: Splinter Manor has no known mod conflicts

The music featured in this episode is "Down By the Sally Garden" and "Love so Softly" by Jon Babb (Bosa), and Daggerfall Snowy Day By Karl Christmas (Zeno_)
