    hey - great video! been mulling over a return to morrowind after many years - yes, had the same experience with it as you did: it literally defined my expectations for rpgs. the right mix of story, worldbuilding, and even it's refusal to hold your hand - at all - make it difficult for me to even look at maps cluttered with quest markers and huds all but forcing you to look at "ares of interest!"

    a little intimidated by the processes required to make openmw work, but you make an extremely compelling case to give it a shot. this video gives me a great place to start. now if only there was a decent combat mod ;-D
