Once again this year, I'm pleased to announce that the Morrowind Modding Community has achieved yet another major milestone, surpassing over 650 new mod releases so far in 2019 as of August 1st, an absolutely astounding figure for a community that, just 5 years ago, was on the decline with only 350 mods released in all of 2014. Already, with five months still left to go, more mods have been released in 2019 than all of 2017, and based on current trends, 2019 will surpass the 730 mods released in 2018 by mid to late September, paving the way for the community to achieve another record high for mod releases this year!

Last year I said we had entered a new golden age in Morrowind modding, and with so many exciting new mod releases and new major developments in the community, I think there can be no doubt that this golden age looks very bright indeed, with only more exciting new developments to come in the future!

As a side note though, we are still looking for judges for the 2019 Modathon, we need experienced modders to go through and rate the 241 competition submissions from this year's Modathon, so if you're interested, please do let me know!
