About this video

One of the largest province mods for The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, Province: Cyrodiil is a project that aims to recreate the famed Imperial province that first appeared in game-form with The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Unlike Oblivion, however, Province: Cyrodiil plans to stay true to the lore of Morrowind, with strong influences taken from The 3rd Edition of the Pocket Guide to the Empire. Province: Cyrodiil will feature intricate political questlines, competing Colovian and Nibenese cultures, a proper jungle, and many towns and cities that were missing from Oblivion, among other things.

One thing that you will find in Province: Cyrodiil that shares the same style and design of Oblivion, however, are the Ayleid ruins you've come to love from the 4th Elder Scrolls game. Featuring a completely new tileset, with beautiful and atmospheric dungeon environments, Province: Cyrodiil provides a truly remarkable recreation of the Ayleid Ruins from Oblivion in the game-world of Morrowind. And you can play through some of them today, with the 2017 release of Province: Cyrodiil's Island of Stirk!

Stay tuned later this year or early 2020 for a possible release of Anvil and the Gold Coast of mainland Cyrodiil! And if you'd like to learn more about this project, check out their forums, Discord Server, and Nexus page.

The music in this video is from The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Soundtrack by Jeremy Soule.
