About this video

Video Description:
Today we have the thirty-ninth episode of our Mod of the Month series, celebrating the best mods from July 2018. The idea behind this series is to release a video every month honoring the best mods released in that particular month, as decided by popular vote.

You can vote for the best mods of August 2018 here.

Our mod of the month for July 2018 is Glow in the Dahrk By Melchior Dahrk and NullCascade, and this will come as a surprise to absolutely no one, Glow in the Dahrk has simply become one of the most popular new mods to be released recently in the community, and it's easy to see why. Using the capabilities of MWSE Lua support, Glow in the Dahrk provides seamless glowing windows across both vanilla Morrowind and modded content like Tamriel Rebuilt and Morrowind Rebirth, including features and options you can adjust, such as when windows start glowing, whether or not they come on all at once, or so on and so forth. With included interior lighting effects such as window sunrays, this is just an incredibly atmospheric and immersive mod, and an absolute must-have, which is why it's our Mod of the Month for July 2018.

Now our second Mod of the Month for July 2018 is Brutal Backstabbing By Merlord, a new gameplay mechanic that rewards you for backstabbing opponents by giving you a damage bonus, though it doesn't just work for you, if you're not careful, you could be back-stabbed yourself. As a MWSE 2.1 Lua mod, it also comes with a number of features and settings you can adjust to your heart's content, and this is a great mod to make the game easier or harder during combat, depending on your luck, and is definitely worth checking out.

Finally, our third choice for mod of the month is Antares' Mages Robes By Arcimaestro Antares, a more straight-forward alternative mage robes mod to Melchior's Mage Robes, providing some really nice looking blue and gold-trimmed robes to the members of the Guild of Mages in Morrowind, including multiple different types of robes depending on your rank. This is a bit more straight-forward and uniform than Melchior's mod, and is certainly worth taking a look at, hence why it's our Mod of the Month for July 2018.
