Today we have the thirtieth episode of our Mod of the Month series, celebrating the best mods from October 2017. The idea behind this series is to release a video every month honoring the best mods released in that particular month, as decided by popular vote.

Our mod of the month for October 2017 is Expedition to Mzelthuand By Team Dreamy Dremora, a quest and dungeon mod released as part of Morrowind Modding Madness, adding a remarkable and extremely unique set of quests involving a new Dwemer ruin off the coast of Vvardenfell, full of new and curious puzzles, and much more for you to see and do! This was the winning entry for the second round of Madness, and it is by far one of the best mods submitted for the competition, hence why it's our Mod of the Month for October.

Second choice for mod of the month is HD Vanilla Textures By G The Generous, and this is a complete texture replacer for, well, pretty much everything in the Morrowind base game, providing updated and higher resolution vanilla textures that keep the same aesthetics and style as those found in the original game 15 years ago, making for a seamless but updated graphical appearance better suited for 2017, hence why this is one of our top picks for October.

Finally, our third choice for the Mod of the Month is the Dwemer Rebirth Project By RubberMan, an ambitious project that aims to, eventually, completely overhaul and replace the vanilla Dwemer ruins around Vvardenfell, giving them a more Skyrim-styled appearance with tons of new assets, puzzles, and generally atmospheric design. Right now the project only covers four ruins, but that's more than enough to make it our third pick for the mod of the month.
