About this video

One of the more tumultuous regions of the northern province of Skyrim, the Reach, found along the borders of Hammerfall and High Rock, is a land of both wonders and dangers, where massive cities, ancient ruins, and the scars of recent conflicts can be found side-by-side in the beautiful natural environments of the Reach. One of the more diverse landscapes of Skyrim, you'll find Nords, Reachmen, Redguards and Bretons living out, or trying to live out their daily lives in this rough-and-tumble yet scenic landscape, where massive Direnni towers, the last remnants of the fabled Direnni Hegemony, dot the skyline, and old Nordic barrows can be found deep in the dense woodlands of the Vorndgad Forest.

Still recovering from the War of Bend'r Mahk, this region is home to a number of cities and settlements, from the oft aloof Reachmen villages that can be found along the Druadach Highlands, to the xenophobic town of Karthgad, a village of Nordic hunters, and the massive trading city of Karthwasten, a former Redguard bastion that was stolen by Skyrim during the war, but is still home to many merchant princes who make their wealth trading wares from every corner of Tamriel in the Reach. While the war has officially ended 30 years ago, conflicts, both of minor skirmishes and larger resistance efforts, can be found all over the Reach, and this beautiful landscape of mesas, forests, and bubbling rivers is home to all manner of dangers, with bandits, beasts, and other less savory elements waiting in the shadows to ambush the unwary traveler.

The Skyrim: Home of the Nords Team are proud to present the second release in their efforts at bringing the province of Skyrim to the world of TESIII: Morrowind. It represents the work of many talented modders over the past few years and includes the following features:

- 200+ exterior cells of landscape
- 150+ interior cells, including the massive city of Karthwasten, an explorer’s paradise, as well as dozens of locations for you to loot in classic TES fashion.
- A comprehensively revamped Karthgad and Vorndgad Forest from the first release.
- Specially-modeled exterior and interior assets to flesh out the settlements of the Reach, including Reachmen camps and Direnni ruins.
- NPCs with extensive dialogue, along with and some quests in Karthgad, Karthwasten, and the surrounding wilderness. Additional quests will follow in subsequent patches.
- New books, armor, clothing, weapons, and more.
