Today we have the twenty-seventh episode of our Mod of the Month series, celebrating the best mods from July 2017. The idea behind this series is to release a video every month honoring the best mods released in that particular month, as decided by popular vote.

Our mod of the month for July 2017 is Darknut's World Textures By Darknut, a truly massive replacer package that replaces most of the landscape, architecture, interior tile-set, and even some of the furniture of the game with new and higher resolution textures that all have an emphasis on remaining true to the vanilla feeling of the game with lore-friendly color-schemes. This is one of the largest texture replacer overhauls to be released for Morrowind, and certainly the largest of recent years, and given that it covers so much and is so easy to install, it's little wonder that this is our mod of the Month for July 2017.

Second choice for mod of the month is Detailed Dungeons By Eldermaster28, a fairly large immersive and atmospheric mod that adds lots of new details such as plant life, moss, mushrooms, waterfalls, and other odd bits and ends to the caverns of Morrowind, as well as some of the Daedric shrines and Dwemer ruins. It covers and updates quite a few dungeons, making a lot of these vanilla locations feel just a bit more unique, hence why it's our second choice for the mod of the month.

Finally, our third choice for Mod of the Month is Remiros' Ascadian Isles Trees By Remiros, and this is a lore-friendly and performance-friendly replacer for the trees of the Ascadian Isles, largely staying true to the original feel and design of the trees that launched with Morrowind 15 years ago. This is a great replacer for those wanting a lore-friendly and low-impact modern replacer that'll run fine on lower end machines and also keep that vanilla feeling of the Ascadian Isles.
