About this video

Morrowind is a land of dungeons, from the Dwemer towers upon the distant horizons, to the twisted shadows of Daedric shrines creeping across the landscape, to caves, grottos, strongholds and more. There are hundreds of dark, sinister lairs, promising all sorts of loot and treasure for those adventurers who dare to delve into these forsaken realms.

And there is, perhaps, no dungeon more ubiquitous in Morrowind than those howling halls of the undead, those ancestral tombs, burial crypts, and ancient barrows that dot the landscape with untold dangers within and untold riches to gain.

With some 92 tombs in the vanilla game, it'll come as no surprise that these dungeons are often the target of modders, aiming to improve, expand, and overhaul these lairs into more interesting and promising encounters.

We'll be taking a look at a number of them here today, as we look to improve Morrowind's dungeon delving experiences - and let's be clear, each of these overhauls is a vast improvement over the vanilla game, and well worth checking out for yourself!
