About this video

As part of Morrowind May Modathon Month, we're giving away dozens of games as prizes to participating modders who release mods in May, either at Morrowind Nexus or Great House Fliggerty.
Today we'll be explaining how it all works and what rules the competition has in place.

First off, all categories of mods are allowed! That means texture replacers, gameplay tweaks, and content mods like house mods, dungeon mods, and quest mods! The only type of mod that is NOT eligible for Modathon Month is cheat mods, i.e. placing a barrel of loot in the middle of Seyda Neen or adding a daedric longsword to the Census and Excise Offices. Those are the only type of mods that will not be accepted as part of May Modathon Month. Everything else goes, whether it be lore-friendly or lore-breaking, just be creative!

Now each week, two-three modders will be selected randomly (as determined by random-number generator) to win a single AAA or indie game. The way this works is that I'll contact you on the forums with three games you can choose from for your prize. If you already own all three games, I'll send you an updated list. But please try not to take advantage of this system to get the absolute best games possible, I'm not rich and Morrowind Modding Showcases actually runs at a loss each month (it costs more to maintain than it makes in ad revenue). I will happily work with you if you prefer a certain genre of game, but don't abuse the system!

The grand prize winner will get 10~15 games, and this will be determined by a panel of five secret judges who will go through and rate each mod on a simple numerical scale.

The scale they'll be using can be seen below:
5 Points for Mod Functionality (the mod does what it's supposed to)
3 Points for Mod Quality (polish and extra features)
2 Points for Mod Cleaning (using proper cleaning tools to keep your mods clean)

Anyway, that just about covers everything. If you have any questions, please just let me know!
