ESO: Alliances at War
It is only five (5:31) minutes long, so do not expect a detailed explanation to each alliance. The video is primarily to get sort of a perspective of what each alliance stand for, and why they think they need to enter Cyrodiil and take the throne.

But I have to correct you on lore. Imperial city in 2E was not Ayleid but Imperial of the Second Empire. Also, Ayleids created it as a for initially not capital or city for that matter. The game is set in small pocket of time when Second Empire was weak and at it's end but before Talos/Tiber Septim was born and players will be one of many of false crowned emperors. They claim they will make exact copy of places already seen in past TES games - it remains to be seen, but also said not all zones will be there at launch (probably left for expansions). They also claim mobs will have great AI - will believe in this when I see it is so.
It is only TES lore foundations and they will even implement time travel - lol at least. For now, it sounds like they are tossing features (mostly seen in GW2) but those features do not guarantee a good game (GW2 is good example of superb features while game is bad - Skyrim had more sales in 48 hours than GW2 had in 6 months!).
I will not look on ESO as TES game as it is more MMO than TES and as release date approaches, it looks like Elder Scrolls in title is only for the advertising purposes. Will try it for sure, but how long will play it depends really. So far, any TES game I could start over and over again from the beginning created countless characters. My top score for MMO is 4 characters after which I quit that MMO.

actually wonder if they'll be making an EXACT copy of already made locations.. Like the Imperial City for instance.

The game is supposed to be taking place during 2E, there isnt supposed to be an Imperial anything at this time. They are breaking the lore in a massive way, the imperial city is supposed to be the Ayleid capital, a small city built around the White Gold Tower, nothing near what it is in the TES games long after the Imperial Empire takes control and builds it up. This is just one of many things they are changing to fit their Dark age of Camelot sequal with TES skins...even the elves are DaoC elves, not TES elves.
ON a side note, has anyone played Kameo? Elements of Power? The first game for the Xbox 360? I imagine the Summerset Isles and the architecture to have some resemblance to the elvern structure within the game... Such beauty... It'll suit it.
I agree. Even looking at the trailer it reminds me of Dragon Age 2, crappy armours and over the top abilities. If the gameplay is like that I won't touch it.
You will be forced to pick a faction, wont be able to play in the other factions lands, it will be heavily instanced and not a full open world either and thus no open world pvp. This game is TES in name only.
