Site downtime postponed 24 hours

The scheduled downtime for today has been postponed 24 hours until tomorrow. The server was loaded in RAID 1 but I need both drives to store all your mods so I've had to request an OS reload that will take some time to do.

Once again I plan to take the site down at 2PM GMT and have the site back up around 8PM GMT.

    If you'd have used SATA RAID you wouldn't have had so many memory problems.

    Did you virtualize, or opt for individual pieces of hardware?

    The site uses 4 different file servers that act as backups.

    Just an observation, without RAID, how are you handling drive failures? Just a simple nightly retention backup or some kind of shadowcopy?
