About this mod
Very short quest to make the Mazed Band more powerful. Pick your desired enchantment - optional travel to Necrom also.

You should not even speak of that cursed object! . . . I have heard many tales of that ring, and the evil Barilzar who created it. It was to be a means of teleportation for the wizard, but it was much worse than that. That ring was said to open gates to hellish planes, releasing creatures best left in nightmare. I've heard the ring was stripped of its power, and that only a god could use it now and not be destroyed. The thought chills my bones. - Plitinius Mero

FEATURES
- Upgraded icon and model for Barilzar's Mazed Bad, designed by Alaisiagae.
- Pick your powers based on what you're interested in (see below for options).
- Retain the power to summon Fabricants through the quest.
To upgrade your ring, chat to Plitinius Mero in the Mournhold Royal Palace Courtyard to kick off the quest. Urvel Dulni and Elbert Nermarc must be alive for this quest to work.
This quest will be incompatible with any mod that edits the location of the original Shrine of the Dead, in the cell 'Old Mournhold: Temple Shrine', as the new offering is on top of the original Shrine of the Dead.
PICK YOUR POWERS!
At a point you will be able to pick which abilities you want the mazed band to have. You can have the following, which are all Constant Effect:
ORIGINAL POWERS ("Awaken its original powers, whatever they are!"):
- Water Breathing
- Sanctuary 30 points
- Feather 100
SCRYING ("Can it be used to scry for other enchantments?"):
- Detect Animal 1000
- Detect Enchanmtnet 1000
- Detect Key 1000
SHIELD ("Is there anything that might be able to protect me?"):
- Sheild 50
- Resist Magicka 50
- Sanctuary 25
DIVINE MAGE ("Do you see anything about magicka in there?"):
- Fortify Maximum Magica x3.0
- Spell Absorption 50
- Stunted Magicka :(
I don't quite think of this as a cheat mod knowing how easy it is to get some of these enchantments, and I think it's warrented given it's an end game reward - however I'm sort of just uploading this for myself. If you notice errors please message me on Nexus or Discord and I will endevour to make changes.
QUEST WALKTHROUGH:
Should you wish to pre-plan or read through, see below:
- (Optional) Talk to Plitinius Mero about the Mazed Band. He will direct you to Elbert Nermarc.
- (Side Quest) Elbert Nermarc will tell you he's not interested in weird enchantments due to a brush with Golena Sadri. She will need to be dead before he wants to talk about them again.
- Elbert Nermarc will tell you he can fix the ring as long as he has Barilzar's original sketches. You need to travel to Odirniran to find them - they are in the Tower, on a table.
- Return to Elbert with the Mazed Band and the schematics - he will break the band, but give you a power to summon fabricants, and will also give you an inscription.
- Talk to Urvel Dulni in the Office of the Archcanon in the Mournhold Temple while you have the inscription. You can pick which enchantment you want, from the list (correlating to the list above).
- Return to the Shrine of the Dead, and interact with the incense burner (Offering of the Dead). You now have your new version!
