I made this mod for my personal use and decided other people may enjoy using it. The goal was to fix outliers with race selection, specifically by nerfing some of the strongest effects and adding new effects to races that were lacking meaningful benefits compared to others. Multiple races have received a fortify magicka bonus of 0.5 for some build variety and I think it's accurate for these races to have competent spellcasters. I did my best to keep all changes in the mod lore-friendly. I made this mod with OpenMW's construction set and converted it to an .esp file, hopefully it works great for everyone even if you aren't using OpenMW.

In addition to changing or adding powers, I have also modified the skills they start with, and even their starting attributes have been modified slightly. Nothing too extreme for the most part, just giving more attributes or skills to the weaker races to help them overcome their lack of strong powers. For example, wood elves start with 5 more willpower and endurance than they used to. This doesn't change their maximum value.

I have included screenshots that highlight some of the most impactful changes to each race, but I don't feel like making an entire list of every single change on here. I recommend you try it for yourself if you like the stuff in the screenshots.

Good to know: Fortify Attribute/Skill as a passive power is more useful than simply increasing starting attributes or making their skill bonuses higher. It allows those numbers to go over the regular maximum of 100. For example, with my mod Imperials can reach a maximum of 105 luck by getting their Luck attribute to 100 and the extra 5 still comes from their always-active passive power "Imperial Luck". For NCGDMW users, this benefit isn't as important because you probably have a max over 100 anyway, but these fortified stats won't contribute to your overall character level, which gives you a small advantage over another character of the same build.

I personally play with the Expanded Vanilla modlist found on https://modding-openmw.com/,
but here are some OpenMW mods I recommend checking out if you want to rebalance your game effectively:
NCGDMW Lua Edition
Harder Better Faster Stronger (OpenMW)

You can put bug reports in the "Bugs" tab here on my mod page. I also welcome general feedback and new ideas in the "Posts" tab. I do not have plans to change this mod a lot, but I may take an idea or two if I really like them.
