About this mod
Morrowind's premade classes aren't great.
Experienced players are used to creating custom classes, but it can be a hard and frustrating task for a new player who doesn't yet know the intricacies of Morrowind's levelling system.
This mod intends to fix this by replacing Bethesda's classes with better alternatives.
- Permissions and credits
Even if you don't pick the classes themselves, the provided classes can serve as a guide for creating your own class - a better guide than the vanilla classes.
FEATURES
This mod provides 27 new classes replacing the default ones.
Every class was recreated, first, to make efficient levelling possible, and second, to prevent some frustrating stumbling blocks during the early game.
- There are at least 2 miscellaneous skills under every attribute.
- Every class has at least one and no more than one lock opening skill as well as persuasion skill
- There are a few other appropriate changes on a case-by-case basis.
Vanilla classes are also used by many NPCs and making direct changes to those classes could unbalance the game - which is why I created new classes instead. It will not be possible to choose old classes during character generation, though, they are turned "unplayable".
This mod consists of the main file - VanillaClassesFixed.esp - and a directory with class images.
I also provided a VanillaClassesReadme.txt file with detailed comparisons between every vanilla class and their replacements with all the changes listed.
This mod should be compatible with any other mods that do not change vanilla classes.
