Using MWSE-lua, and GOOGLEPOX's 'MWSE Dynamic Object Replacer', this mod provides a chance for containers (generally, chests) inside dungeons to dynamically upgrade to hold one of two newly added items: Ring of Knowledge, and Ring of Wisdom.


Ring of Knowledge: When equipped for the first time, will allow you to permanently raise one skill of your choice by one point.

Ring of Wisdom:
When equipped for the first time, will allow you to permanently raise one attribute of your choice by one point.

A thorough adventurer can expect to find a total of around 120 Rings of Knowledge and 80 Rings of Wisdom scattered among the hostile dwellings of Vvardenfell and Solstheim. Because of the dynamic nature of this mod, no two runs will find these rings in exactly the same places. Exploration is encouraged!

Tamriel Rebuilt Integration

Tamriel Rebuilt uses many of the same containers that have dynamic upgrade chances as in Vanilla Morrowind, so the base Dynamic Rings of Power mod will also work on the Mainland.

That said, Tamriel Rebuilt adds many new containers of its own, so I've provided a TR version of the mod that additionally adds a chance to find the rings on skeletons that are found in dungeons throughout the mainland. I recommend using the TR version if you're doing a TR run.

I made this mod because I wanted a way to raise difficult-to-train skills without relying on training. Or, to gradually raise skills when playing with mods that greatly slow progression.

Rings are dynamically found in chests within dungeons. If you're using the TR version, rings can also be found on skeletons in their dungeons. These should be fun and appropriate rewards for
exploring hostile interiors!

Compatibility:
This should be compatible with everything, as long as you're using MWSE.

This does NOT work with OpenMW. I'm not sure how to make this for OpenMW lua at the moment, sorry!
