About this mod

Updates each birthsign to have a power, ability, and spell. Birthsigns now have a very strong influence on your playstyle.

Birthsigns are now much more impactful and heavily influence your playstyle.
  • Your powers and spells have a 100% cast success chance.
  • Spells are designed to be used heavily and as often as possible, though they still cost magicka, so they aren't completely spammable.
  • Powers (only castable once a day) are much more powerful, but hopefully just useful enough so you don't have "maybe I'll save it for later" syndrome.

-Warrior (Simple and straight-forward, as Todd intended.)
Power: Drawoh's Strength: Fortify Strength 50 points for 120 seconds (To get past that puzzle in Sotha Sil.)
Ability: Warwyrd: Fortify Attack 25 points (More accurate melee attacks.)
Spell: Adsehteb's Trusty Axe: Bound Battle Axe 120 seconds (Never get caught without a weapon.)

-Mage (Mana regen is a game changer for mage builds.)
Power: Wizard-Lord's Pursuit: Levitate 50 points for 30 seconds (The signature look of Telvanni superiority.)
Ability: Fay: Restore Magicka 1, Fortify Maximum Magicka x1.0, Weakness to Normal Weapons 100% (Adds mana regen!)
Spell: Tasha's Hideous Laughter: Sound on target 100 points for 60 seconds (Makes it a lot harder for enemy spellcasters to cast spells.)

-Thief (Control the flow of battle.)
Power: Vicious Mockery: Frenzy Humanoid on touch 50 points for 60 seconds (Get in fights without getting in trouble.)
Ability: Akaviri Danger-sense: Sanctuary 25 points (More chance to dodge.)
Spell: Blade-eating Acid: Disintegrate Weapon on touch 100 points for 60 seconds (Don't have to worry about getting hit if they don't have a weapon.)

-Serpent (A little lucky, a little cursed.)
Power: Star-Cursed: Fortify Fatigue 100 points for 60 seconds (Bonus luck if your current fatigue exceeds maximum fatigue. Then lose it once the effect ends.)
Ability: Fish Hunter: Swift Swim 25 points, Resist poison 25 (Redguards come with 75 resist poison)
Spell: Oberyn's Viper: Weakness to poison 50% on touch for 5 seconds, Poison on touch 15 points for 5 seconds, Poison on self 1 point for 30 seconds (To bypass Argonian resistance)

-Lady (Shop 'till you drop.)
Power: Lady's Favor: Fortify Mercantile 50 points for 120 seconds (Buying at a discount was never easier!)
Ability: Lady's Grace: Fortify Personality 25 points, Fortify Endurance 25 points, Weakness to Poison 100% (I want her to know it was me.)
Spell: Lady's Dignity: Fortify Speechcraft 50 for for 120 seconds (The belle of the ball.)

-Steed (Live fast and die hard.)
Power: Lead Foot: Burden on touch 500 points for 60 seconds, Damage fatigue on self 10 points for 30 seconds (Pins people in place so you can run away.)
Ability: Charioteer: Fortify Speed 25, Fortify Athletics 25, Weakness to Frost 100% (Run a little faster, at a cost.)
Spell: Aspect of Wind: Feather 100 points for 120 seconds (In case you picked up one too many pieces of treasure.)

-Lord (Auto health regen in the early game is a game changer.)
Power: Blood of the North: Cure Blight Disease, Cure Common Disease (Never worry about getting sick again.)
Ability: Trollkin: Restore Heath 1, Resist Common Disease 25%, Weakness to Fire 100% (Combo with certain races for full immunity to common diease.)
Spell: Defensive Duelist: Fortify Block 50 points for 120 seconds (Block is a little hard to use at low levels, so a little extra kick should help.)

-Apprentice (For all the crafting exploit lovers.)
Power: Elric's Formula: Fortify Alchemy 50 points for 60 seconds (Makes early game potion making a little easier.)
Ability: Elfborn: Fortify Willpower 25 points, Fortify Maximum Magicka x1.5, Weakness to Magicka 50% (Slightly easier time casting spells.)
Spell: Feddic's Lyrium: Fortify Enchanting 50 points for 60 seconds (When this baby hits 110, you're gonna see some serious shit.)

-Atronach (The anti-magic)
Power: Rite of Tranquility: Drain Intelligence on target 100 points for 60 seconds (No intelligence means no magicka.) 
Ability: Wombburn: Stunted Magicka, Fortify Maximum Magicka x2.0, Spell Absorption 50 points (Untouched, because it's that good.)
Spell: Banish: Dispel 100 points on target (Hit the caster to banish their summons.)

-Ritual (More defensive power)
Power: Blessed Word: Restore health 50 points for 30 seconds, Damage fatigue on self 10 points for 30 seconds. (Gave the heal a big kick, at a cost.)
Ability: Mara's Gift: Reflect 25, Fortify Intelligence 25 points (Mini atronach)
Spell: Blessed Touch: Demoralize Creature on touch 100 points for 60 seconds, Light on touch 50 points for 60 seconds (Affects more than just undead now.)

-Lover (No more paralysis, sorry.)
Power: Lover's Kiss: Calm humanoid 50 for 60 sec, Calm creature 50 for 60 sec, Damage fatigue on self 10 points for 30 seconds (For those pesky paralysis resistances.)
Ability: Mooncalf: Agility 25, Slowfall 1 point (No more worrying about fall damage.)
Spell: Capulet's Longing: Jump 25 points for 30 sec (Travel in style.)

-Shadow (For sneaking around.)
Power: Phantom Hand: Telekinesis 50 for 30 seconds (For opening trapped chests and doors.)
Ability: Moonshadow: Fortify Sneak 25, Night eye 25 points (Great for exploring dark caves.)
Spell: Vanishing Point: Invisibility for 60 seconds (For people with social anxiety.)

-Tower (For stealing stuff.)
Power: Tower Key: Open 75 on touch (Now you can steal from merchant chests!)
Ability: Beggar's Nose: Detect Creature 25, Detect Enchantment 25, Detect Key 25 (Roughly minimap sized. Having this as a passive ability feel a lot better, I think.)
Spell: Bosnian Pick: Fortify Security 50 for 60 seconds (Lock picking is super easy now.)

Fun fact:
Powers do not count towards spells known when spellcrafting, but spells granted by birthsigns count towards spells known when spellcrafting.
