About this mod

The cottage is simply furnished, a main room with a fireplace and a bedroom. Beneath the cottage is a damp, moody underground\water Velothi ruin. I'm not sure why it's there or what it was. More storage and another bed. And mushrooms.

A Vivec Cottage
by OrlopRat

Note:
This mod conflicts with Sniper Daria's amazing Japanese House. They're both on the same island. But it's a great island, very scenic and transport friendly. I made this for my own use, for when I wasn't playing Akaviri but still wanted to live in the same place. Then it got complicated and I released it, even though it conflicts with the Japanese House.
By the way, did I mention that it conflicts with the Japanese House? It conflicts with the Japanese House. It does. Really.

What You Get:

A fairly simple cottage, which conflicts with the Japanese House, on a small island near the Vivec docks and siltstrider. Phineus Venym sells souvenirs on the roadside just up from the dock, he can tell you about The Key. You will meet a bandit named Mumpy. He has a pretty good sword.
The cottage is simply furnished, a main room with a fireplace and a bedroom. Beneath the cottage is a damp, moody underground\water Velothi ruin. I'm not sure why it's there or what it was. More storage and another bed. And mushrooms.
The cottage has a level 100 lock. If you're good you can pick it and not get in trouble, but then you might not meet Mumpy. Your choice.

Requires:

Morrowind on your hard drive. That's it. Nothing else. But don't think this is an excuse for not having the expansions. There is no excuse for that. Come to think of it, I should've put a Bloodmoon bearhead over the fireplace, just to make it dependent. Maybe next time :)

Installation:

Put the Icons, Meshes, and Textures folders, and the .esp file into your Morrowind\Data Files folder. Say "Yes" to all overwrites. Check the box in the launcher and play. Or, if you have Quake 2 installed, just unzip everything into your Quake 2 folder. It won't do anything, but it can be done.

Credits:

The mesh for Mumpy's sword is by Adul. I really like his work, so it shows up a lot in my mods. Get Adul's Arsenal. Now.

I think everything else is either by Bethesda or me. Anything wrong, shoddy, or bad is mine.
