ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
This mod comes in two versions; normal and a Dialogue Immersion version that requires Lucevar's LDM - Context Matters, vonwolfe's Quest Voice Greetings, and Patch for Purists by half11. This version reworks text and voiced dialogue to improve the players immersion. Examples such as Mages and Sorcerer's willing to speak to a fully transformed vampire while temple faithful, like Ordinators, will attack on sight.

This is an overhaul of Detail Devil's fantastic vampire overhaul mod and retains much of the same functionality with some
enhancements and changes.

Players can feed on NPCs by crouching/sneaking and activating the corpse. OpenMW users need only sneak over a corpse and the option to feed will appear after 1 second. They can also fill a flask for later use when there is no prey available. Players may hold up to 3 flasks at a time. With this mod there are now 4 distinct stages of Vampirism. Each stage denotes the players hold on their humanity and control of their corresponding blood thirst, which advances every night at midnight.

Stage 1:
The player's status as vampire is hidden and is able to walk among the living undetected, able to enjoy the light of day.
A mix of vanilla stat and skill increases combined with bloodline specific ones that fit into their preferred niche. Aundae are mages, Berne are rogues, and Quarra are warriors.

Stage 2:
The player's status as vampire is hidden but having gone a day without feeding their thirst for blood increases.
  • Strength, Speed, Willpower are raised by 30 points.
  • Agility and Personality are lowered by 30.
  • Acquire 'Vile Seduction' power, allowing the seduction (calm and charm) of npcs.

Stage 3:
The players disguise begins to slip, they receive additional bonuses and debuffs as their hold on humanity falls.
  • Strength, Speed, Willpower are raised by 40 points.
  • Agility is lowered by 40 and Personality is lowered by 60.
  • 10 points of night-eye and 20 points of sun damage per second.
  • Acquire 'Embrace of Shadows' granting 30 seconds of invisibility and sanctuary in order to ambush or flee.

Stage 4:
The player can no longer hide their affliction, their appearance takes on an ghastly undead visage and are treated as a vampire by the world at large.
  • Strength, Speed, Willpower are raised by 60 points
  • Agility is lowered by 60 making you extremely susceptible to being knocked down and Personality is lowered to an eye watering 90 points.
  • 20 points of night-eye and takes a crushing 40 points of sun damage per second.
  • Acquire Molag Bal's Roar power that allows the player to silence and paralyze their foes.

Feeding or drinking their stored blood potion returns the player to stage 1, restoring their normal face (this feature was the driving force for my creation of this mod) and removing powers gained.

Additionally all vampires gain the ability to breathe underwater, you're undead so no need for oxygen, and each bloodline receives an unique daily power.
  • Aundae Mages gain a powerful command humanoid spell.
  • Berne Rogues can taken on a mist form that grants chameleon and sanctuary but silences the player and drains agility.
  • Quarra brutes have a blood lust that fortifies their attack and fatigue at the cost of their agility.

Keep in mind that all of these changes are applied to NPC vampires who are all permanently at stage 4, but without the agility debuff. Vampires are now exceedingly dangerous and powerful foes.

If you would like to test the features of these mod simply open the console with your tilde key and type in the following:
  • player->addspell "Vampire Blood Aundae"

I am aware of the single quest that is typically completed by "drowning". However, if you're playing a vampire I'm not sure why you
would join the faction in question, but a resourceful player can easily
figure out the workaround. The UESP has the answer as well.
