Some time ago, Leyawynn shared a few screenshots on Discord showcasing a Bitter Coast overhaul that featured some truly alien-looking mushroom trees. If I recall correctly, these trees were originally created by Anumaril and later tweaked by Leyawynn. At some point, they were shared on Discord along with a WIP ESP file for the overhaul. This version seemed intended to completely replace the vanilla trees with a mix of various ferns and mushrooms.
For my project, I decided to take a different approach. Instead of replacing all the trees, I scattered these new mushroom trees throughout the Bitter Coast. The goal was to give the region a more alien and sinister atmosphere while also enhancing its visual variety.
Thinking about it, the Bitter Coast is already home to many mushrooms, and most mushroom ingredients in the game are exclusive to this region. It feels like the perfect place to introduce massive, otherworldly mushroom trees.
There’s not much more to add—hopefully, the screenshots speak for themselves and give you a clear idea of what this mod brings to the table.
