Second Chances SECOND CHANCES at Morrowind Nexus - mods and community is a great mod! It provides you with a Dark Souls style death recovery system.
"When you die you will be resurrected and teleported to the nearest Tribunal temple. All of your gold will be gone. You must travel back to your place of death to recover it. If you die before you reach there the gold will be gone forever."
This actually kind of breaks the endgame though. When you're in Akulakhan's chamber you can't normally teleport out to escape, and so when using Second Chances because of the no teleport script if you die you will just keep resurrecting inside the chamber, essentially you can't die or lose. This patch fixes that so if you die inside the chamber you WILL get teleported to a temple. But in doing so this fix will also enable you to teleport out of the chamber with a spell too, which isn't lore friendly, because Dagoth Ur tells you "You can't use teleportation here!", which is true if playing vanilla Morrowind. However, using Second Chances isn't vanilla friendly either. But I expect you already beat the vanilla game first before using mods anyway. In any case, use my patch along with Second Chances if you want a challenge in the endgame so you're not immortal. Load it after Second Chances.
