Lose your gold over time. Take ramping damage if your purse gets too light.
[INSTALLATION]
Unzip the mod subdirectory wherever you put your mods, or on a datapath listed in openmw.cfg (default Windows location C:\Users\...\Documents\My Games\OpenMW), and check the checkbox in OpenMW Launcher > Data Files > modNameHere.omwscripts
[DESCRIPTION]
Inspired by SmallAnt's similar Mario Odyssey challenge (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GzgVHlhKm1U), with the original mod created by Bryce (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d35uzy1CZFc), lose your gold over time. By default you will lose 1% of your gold, rounded up, every 3 seconds, and if you fall below 100 gold remaining (to allow for fast travel payments) you will start taking 1% of your health every 3 seconds in damage, increasing by an additional 1% each time you get hurt.
As an optional alternative run, you could set it up so that
- you lose money at a much higher rate, but don't take damage if you run out. You could make it so you lose all of your money near instantly, which means you cannot buy services, and must conduct all transactions with vendors via bartering. That's neat.
- Or you could make it so you die near instantly if you ever run out lol.
[RECOMMENDATIONS]
If you are using this with my combat pack, disable Sol's Lose More Health in the options.
- You may also like to use Gold Weight to make your gold have weight. I would recommend a weight of 0.01 per gold piece.
- You may also like to use johnnyhostile's Pause Control, so that your game does not pause while you're menuing.
