This mod adds 7 new scrolls to the game with varying enchantment levels to create your own single use scrolls with. Five of the scrolls are matched with the highest soul you can trap within each tier: Petty, Lesser, etc. There's also two other scrolls; Treated Paper (for low level enchants) and Divine Scrolls if you want to use Vivec's and/or Almalexia's soul to make a scroll.
This mod also vastly lowers the multiplier cost for enchanting to make it viable to create enchantments without resorting to exploits. Enchanting's cost is now closer to the cost of making a spell with the same effects, with it still being cheaper to make the spell as opposed to the enchant. I also didn't like how the highest Common soul (120) belonged to the Goblin Warrior and since I didn't want to call the common scroll Goblin Skin Scroll I changed the Clannfear's soul to be 120 up from 100.
Every vendor that offers Enchanting services sells a finite amount of scrolls dictated by your level but there are 6 vendors who sell restocking scrolls:
- Methal Seran (Ald'ruhn Temple)
- Lalatia Varian (Ebonheart Chapels)
- Elbert Nermarc (Craftsmen's Hall Mournhold)
- Hlendrisa Seleth (Telvanni Stronghold)
- Folms Mirel (Caldera Mages' Guild)
Enchanters affiliated with the Temple or Imperial Cult also sell restocking Treated Paper & scrolls were added to several leveled lists to be found out in the wild.
I originally made this for myself, but decided to upload it here because why not. If, like me, you weren't entirely satisfied with the enchantable scroll options on Nexus then hopefully this mod will be the solution for you like it was for me. Maybe one day I'll go crazy and learn LUA scripting cause the one other thing I feel is lacking is a way to make an Enchant oriented character without having to buy spells you won't use. I'd love to add a way to find books that teach you spell effects for enchanting into this mod, but that'll be a ways down the road if it ever happens.
