About this mod
Intelligently slows down skill XP gain by up to 50%, increases training costs, and fixes governing attributes for a smoother, new-content friendly leveling experience.
- Permissions and credits

Specifically, this mod does 3 things:
- Decreases skill level-up speed by up to 50% on a skill-by-skill basis.
- Increases training costs by 50% across the board.
- Swaps the governing attributes of a few skills for a vanilla-friendly experience that causes less of a headache.
The optional file slightly reduces skill level-ups necessary to reach higher Attribute multipliers. See all the changes below:

Governing Attributes
MYSTICISM: Willpower > Intelligence
This allows for easier leveling of Intelligence without spamming Conjuration spells.
SECURITY: Intelligence > Agility
This fits better for thief builds and balances out with the Mysticism attribute change.
SPEAR: Endurance > Strength
This no longer forces anyone to prioritize leveling Spear (a random offensive skill) just to increase their Health.
ARMORER: Strength > Endurance
This adds a non-combat skill to Endurance to supplement the leveling (Strength already has a non-combat skill - Acrobatics), and Strength already had too many skills in general.

Blunt Weapon: Successful Attack = 1.00 -> 0.50 -50% speed
Hand to Hand: Successful Attack = 1.00 -> 0.60 -40% speed
Long Blade: Successful Attack = 1.00 -> 0.50 -50% speed
Marksman: Successful Attack = 1.00 -> 0.65 -35% speed
Short Blade: Successful Attack = 0.75 -> 0.37 -50% speed
Spear: Successful Attack = 1.00 -> 0.50 -50% speed
Block: Successful Block = 2.50 -> 1.50 -40% speed
Heavy Armor: Hit by Opponent = 1.00 -> 0.70 -30% speed
Medium Armor: Hit by Opponent = 1.00 -> 0.80 -20% speed
Light Armor: Hit by Opponent = 1.00 -> 0.90 -10% speed

Relaxed Level Attribute Multipliers
(optional file)Vanilla Attribute multipliers can become tedious. This optional file simply relaxes the requirements by 2 skill levels. Now you can get a +4 Attribute multiplier at 6 skill level-ups, which is still a fair amount of work but ultimately makes leveling much less painful. See below:
