Part of the May Modathon Month (Modathon 2024)

This mod features two locations: Tel Tekhnes and Nchulvolunrkng

Tel Tekhnes is a small Telvanni village that can be found along the shoreline east-northeast of Khuul. If you take a stilt strider there, head straight northeast until you reach a bandit camp. Tel Tekhnes should be on your left. The first shop you encounter is the merchant Asteraceae, a Bosmer, who will buy anything, and has 50,000 gold to barter with. The second shop is Binds-In-Steel, an Argonian, who is an enchanter that sells paper with larger than usual enchanting capacity (expensive, extravagant, exquisite).

Nchulvolunrkng is a Dwemer ruin that has been taken over by a Telvanni wizard. You can reach it by ascending to the top of the tower, then descending down its innards. Should you make it inside, you will have access to smiths of various armor expertise and mages who can sell you powerful, but expensive enchanted items.

Nchulvolunrkng has two wings. The Wing of Spells has enchanters who help you with enchanting. They will also share a bit about slavery. The Wing of Hammers has smiths who help you with smithing.

This mod adds 80+ (enchanted) items, 10+ NPCs, a few quests, and a bit of dialogue (I tried my best to make the NPCs say something interesting).

Items in this mod:
    • Paper enchanting capacity. I made larger capacity paper for enchanting using the expensive, extravagant, exquisite tiering system. Talk to Binds-In-Steel if you’re interested in purchasing some paper.
    • Iron armor themed around summoned equipment.
    • Glass armor themed around sneaking.
    • Orc armor themed around combat.
    • Dwemer armor themed around lightning.
    • Ebony armor themed around anti-magic.
    • Daedric armor themed around summoning creatures.
    • An unenchanted ebony bow
    • An unenchanted bi-polar blade

A handful of NPCs sell spells. They are mostly pulled from the auto calculator class+race list. I added a few spells for flavor. The Telvanni Orc Wizards have most of the game’s spells, (they only sell to friendlies) mostly intended for them to be a “library” for spell effects that you can use to learn then enchant items with.

Quests/Notable NPCs to talk to: (Spoilers!)
    1. Wandissimo, a recently escaped slave, is at the entrance and wonders if this is the safe place for runaway slaves. (It’s only a small interaction.)
    2. Asteraceae, the Tel Tekhnes merchant, has a corpse in her home. Pick up the note and ask her what’s happening.
    3. Madame Granosh at the top of the tower guards the gate to Nchulvolunrkng. Share your views on slavery with her to get a key to delve deeper.
    4. Beshkar gra-Vorkim guards a hall in the Dwemer ruin. She can grant you access further into the ruin if you do a favor for her. You just have to free a few slaves is all.
    5. Klyto gro-Tekhnes wants a few slave bracers for research. (Ask him about the Wing of Spells.) Help him to get a special tool for freeing slaves. Opens up dialogue with Asteraceae for fast travel into the ruin.
    6. Di’krin Jeek in the Wing of Spells has a spare room for you, if you have the gold.

Technical notes: (Spoilers?)
    • The original cell’s name was West Gash Region: -8,17
    • Compatible with BCOM.
    • Don’t lose any of the keys that you get. The doors won’t open without them.
    • You can parkour to the top of the tower if you don’t know how to levitate. (And inside the ruins)
    • The prices for the enchanted equipment was calculated with an enchanter in game plus whatever the equipment costs. If the price is oddly high, that’s just how much it would actually cost to enchant in-game.
    • I snuck in fortify attack and restore/absorb magicka into Klyto’s and Beshkar’s spells sold list. You have to be a Telvanni Wizard rank to access them (and haven’t failed the quests), so hopefully that makes it “fair”.
