WHAT ARE YOU GONNA BE? A STINKER OR A BATHER?

Now you must wash yourself every now and then or you will suffer
personality penalties. If you neglect your personal hygiene you
will come to a point where you will be disgusted by the whole
population of Vvardenfell! Even diseases will fall upon you!!

There are two ways to clean yourself:
1. Go to a public bath. There are public baths in all major cities.
2. Wash in a river, lake, or in the sea.

While washing yourself in natural water will get you somewhat clean,
it is not by far the treatment you'll get from a bath house.
In the bath house you'll get hot water, scented soaps that grant
magical bonuses, and a trully hygienic bath.

Washing in natural water will get you partially cleaned, as it is not
the same as having a bath.
Going to a public bath will get you totally clean.

Personality penalties by not going to a public bath start after the
third day since the last day of bathing.

I made this because although we do have to wash ourselves on a regular
basis, we -as Morrowind characters- can't go every day in the public
baths. After all, we are adventurers with no time to frequent every
day in the cities!

NPC Reactions to your "Dirty" Level vary according to your clothing,
personality, and reputation. After all, you cannot address someone as
being a beggar when he is in extravagant clothing or armor, neither
can you not show some level of respect to a hero well-known all over
Morrowind.

As a result, low-level characters will have to take care more often to
their hygiene than high-end heroes.

All in all, there are more than 100 dialogue responses to reflect all
the above.

ENJOY!

To get soap needed for bathing outdoors go to Arrile in Seyda Neen
or to Clagius Clanler, Outfitter in Balmora.

If you are too lazy to make the trip, open the console and type
player -> addItem cs_soap 1

To wash yourself outdoors: Get in the water and
equip the soap. You can not bathe in sewers.

NEW IN v1.3:
You cannot clean yourself by taking a mud bath! The mud bath will
boost you in health-related areas, but will actually make you MORE
dirty than you were before, so you have to wash after mudbathing!
No need for soap to get into mudbath, just click and enter.

NEW IN v2.0:
Entire mod extensively re-balanced.
Spelling and grammar completely edited.
All added NPCs now have unique names, no mysterious people named "Bather".
New soapsellers, and the "Stinkers Patch" is incorporated.
The Healing Bath of Mournhold now matches the rest of the city.
The "Bathing Soap" and the "Resolve" scented soap now have unique textures.
All soaps now have unique icons.
The scented soaps, and special baths have all had their effects rebalanced.

     3. In Depth / Scent Soaps List

*****************************************************************

1. If you eat the scented soaps, you'll get sick (poison)
which is like in real life, actually.

2. The scented soap effect lasts for one day ONLY! Which also is
like real life 24h deodorants!

3. If you use one scented soap in a particular day, using another
soap will wash away the parfume of the former soap (and magical
effects) and will give you the new scented soap's effects. This
is also based on real life, since when you wash, you are "perfumed"
with the soap you use, and everything else is washed away.

4. All soaps have "good" effects on you. In the end, when we bathe
don't we all feel better than before???

Here is the list of the scented soaps:
- Tigers Tail (fortify agility 5pts, jump 5pts, sanctuary 10pts)
- Star Ice (fortify willpower 5pts, fortify magicka 30pts, telekinesis 30pts)
- Moonflower (reflect 10pts, detect enchantment 30pts, detect key 30pts)
- Sea Breeze (swift swim 10pts, fortify fatigue 15pts, feather 10pts)
- Divine (Light 10pts, fortify personality 5pts, resist normal weapons 5pts)
- Ocean Deep (water breathing, fortify speed 5pts, detect animal 30pts)
- Midnight Musk (chameleon 5pts, night eye 10pts, fortify luck 5pts)
- Resolve (fortify endurance 5pts, resist paralysis 10pts, resist magicka 10pts)

5. Various baths can give you extra magical effects, especially the
Telvanni ones! Touch their magical crystals!

6. Why people WILL talk to me with a 42 pt personality hit and not
with a prior 10?
- OK, that's a tricky one... The logic is that if you don't bathe at
all, you will get no responses, because of your disgusting "body odor".
Lack of bathing in a public bath, is not essential, as you can still
wash away your stink "in the wild", but it will drop your personality
rating -to extreme if no bath for more than 10 days- , since people,
will notice that eh... somehow... They will speak with you since you
do not stink, but they notice that you have not bathed properly.
Personality drops to reflect this.
Well, just roleplay lol

     4. Save Games

*****************************************************************

If you've been playing an older version of this plugin, cleaning your
old save games is needed. Instructions follow:

Clean your save games, in order to have no duplicating objects in
Balmora, Suran, and Sadrith Mora bath houses. To do this, load your
save game without the bathing mod loaded, go to an interior cell, save,
exit the game, restart with the bathing mod loaded, load your new saved
game. Again, this is only needed if you've saved your game with an older
Bathing Mod version.

If you save your game while this plugin is loaded, you may encounter error
messages when you reload the saved game without the plugin. Ignore them,
as you will be able to continue on with the original game.

NOTE: you can find more information about cleaning your save games here
http://www.forumplanet.com/planetelderscrolls/topic.asp?fid=3370&tid=1258952&p=1#13436054
This is by no means needed for this mod, but will give you a general
idea on how to prevent/clean dirty save games.

     5. Other Info / Credits

*****************************************************************

This is based and built upon Evilgreebo's and Sisco's work,
and grVulture's work.

If you find it very annoying having to bathe in public baths all the
time, you can activate/deactivate the public bath scripts by going to
the Seyda Neen bath house and clicking on the appropriate statuette.
You can also activate/deactivate the warning messages there.

Credits go to:
grVulture, for the mod this is based on.
GIMP, which I used to make the soap icons.
Korana, for her lovely meshes, used in the "Bathing" and "Resolve" soap, and the bathtubs.

SPECIAL THANKS GO TO:
-Horny_Buddha for requesting this in the first place, and providing helpful info.
-Danae for her helpful encouragement.
