Changelogs
Version 1.0.0
Initial release.
If you paid close attention to the dialogue of the quest, you may have picked up on the fact that Skink seems to have had some trouble delivering the potion. Edwinna mentions how long she's been waiting, and Skink is very apologetic about it as well, but apparently the potion is immediately ready for delivery upon your arrival.
There is some unused dialogue from Skink about ancestral tombs, suggesting there may originally have been more to this quest.
What do ancestral tombs contain? Ghosts! What do you get from ghosts? Ectoplasm! What's ectoplasm good for? Detect Creatures potions!
To me at least, it seems clear that the delay was due to Skink having trouble sourcing ectoplasm, and he may have been meant to send you on an errand to go fetch him some.
So that's what this mod does. Skink now asks you for Ectoplasm and suggests you go looking for it in a tomb.
Ever the diplomat, he's aware that the dunmer get upset when you raid their ancestor's final resting places, and suggests to find an abandoned one.
If you're stuck on the quest, refer to section 8 of the readme for the solution(s) to the quest.
