The Elder Scrolls III Morrowind:

1. DESCRIPTION
This is a texture replacer for Velothi (including Vivec), Hlaalu, Redoran, Telvanni, and Dunmer Stronghold architecture. It also replaces the texture of some flora.
I did not make these textures. They are a mixture from 15 other mods.
When I went back to playing Morrowind recently I couldn't decide which texture replacer to install. Dark or Vibrant? A Vivec city that is Egyptian, Aztec, or white and purple marble? There are so many good texture replacers that I couldn't decide, so I started mixing and matching. Many hours later, this was the result. Even if you don't like this as is, perhaps it will help you decide which replacer is right for you.
2. Requirements
Morrowind.
3. INSTALLING THE PLUGIN
BACK UP YOUR TEXTURES! Creating a zip file of your texture folder is usually the easiest way to do this. That way if you don't like them you can go back to your previous textures.
Place the textures in your texture folder.
4. PLAYING THE PLUGIN
You don't have to do anything special. There is no esp.
5. SAVE GAMES
Shouldn't affect save games.
6. CONFLICTS / KNOWN ERRORS
This will overwrite other texture replacers for the same files.
If you find that one of the textures in my screenshots doesn't match your game after you install this, check to see if you have a replacer that includes a texture that I did not include. I left some of the original textures as they were. (extra from Ezze, the textures intentionally left as vanilla as been included from MET to ensure visual consistency and completeness)
Note: Some of these textures might apply strangely in a few spots. This is because of how Bethesada applied the textures to the meshes and is a problem for all texture replacers. I think these look good in enough places that the occasional oddly meeting texture is acceptable.
7. CREDITS / PERMISSIONS RECEIVED
Huge thanks to:
Clavis Connary David Gurrea Elthar Faylynn HelioS / roguestate86 Lady Rae Plangkye Shannon Workman Skydye and Headless Wonder Vagabond Angel Zuldazug, Raptre, and Lord Gabryael tygirwulf
- all of whose work I have only mixed or minorly tweaked. Without them, Morrowind would be a much less pretty place. Go check out their original mods too, detailed in the "A Mix of Textures - texture origin" file. That file also includes a more detailed set of credits.
Thanks also to the creators of DDS viewer and DDS Converter 2, who made working with dds files much easier.
8. CONTACT AND INFORMATION
Message me on Planet Elder Scrolls.
9. LEGAL STUFF/ DISCLAIMER
Feel free to use this, just credit Tealpanda in your readme.
I did not make or even edit the majority of these textures. Please see the "texture origin" file to see where the textures came from and credit anyone whose work you use.
You can delete the screenshots and the other readmes without affecting the texture replacer.
10. CHANGE LOG
(extra from Ezze, the textures intentionally left as vanilla as been included from MET to ensure visual consistency and completeness) v 1.2 (2009/08) - Removed the two textures from Connary. He didn't ask me to specifically but the mod I borrowed it from is no longer available on PES and I still haven't gotten a reply from my attempts to contact him. Check out his big compendium mod when it comes out! V 1.1 - Added flora. V 1.0 - Initial release.
11. ANYTHING ELSE
I did my best to credit everyone whose textures I used. I will be happy to correct any oversights on my part. If I included a texture you made and you object, please email me and I'll fix it as soon as possible.
I made this mod to suit my taste and my taste is not for everyone. Thanks for downloading and I hope you get some enjoyment out of it!
