There are two collections covering Portraits on this page:
- Lorkhan's Arena - Portraits -- this is the primary collection: 60 images showcasing the people of Morrowind. This is found in 'Main Files'.
- Lorkhan's Arena - More Portraits -- this is a supplemental set with 8 more splash screens, and is found under 'Optional Files'.
There are two collections covering Creatures on this page:
- Lorkhan's Arena - Creatures -- this is the primary collection: 29 images showcasing Morrowind creatures. This is found in 'Main Files'.
- Lorkhan's Arena - More Creatures -- this is a supplemental set with 15 more splash screens, and is found under 'Optional Files'.

To install, simply download whichever sets you want to use, and enable in the mod manager of your choice (I use MO2).
Not all screens are enabled by default. Some screens are found in a /spoilers/ subfolder, as they reveal creatures (corprus creatures, fabricants) that are only revealed late in the game. Other screens are found in a /disable/ subfolder, as the images weren't to my personal taste. Feel free to move any 'spoiler' screens back into the main /Splash/ folder as you see fit.
I highly recommend removing the default loading screens from your game if you use my mod. The original files can be found in Morrowind/Data/Splash -- if you'd prefer not to delete them outright, simply create a '/Splash/default' sub-folder and move all of the vanilla .tga files into that.

The 60 images of the main 'Portraits' collection are divided into three sub-folders; this allows you to pick & choose with a BAIN installer.
1) Notable Names -- this set features 24 images of memorable NPCs, such as Caius Cosades, Gentleman Jim Stacey, or Queen Barenziah
2) Generic NPCs -- this set features 22 images of generic NPCs, such as Hlaalu Sharpshooters, Redoran Lawkeepers, or Morag Tong Assassins
3) Story Spoilers -- this set features 14 images of essential NPCs, such as Almalexia, Hircine, or Yagrum Bagarn. Only install this if you don't care about spoilers!
The 24 screens of the 'Notable Names' set are based on the following art:

The 22 screens of the 'Generic NPCs' set are based on the following art:

Recommendations
---------
Any and all of these loading screens can be used on their own, but these are designed for use alongside my 'Lorkhan's Arena - Landscapes' and 'Interiors' loading screen mods.
I personally play with the main collections from 'Landscapes' and Interiors', but you can use any combination you like. I believe the Creature and Portrait sets go particularly well together.
If you want to enjoy the original source files, I've included an optional 'Sources' download covering each of the four collections.
If you want to make your own loading screens, I've also included a optional 'Template' download, with instructions for how to convert any piece of art into a loading screen. Note that the .pdn file does require the use of Paint.NET.
