Meshes dated in the future to hopefully always override the ones from .bsa
A simple replacer for the ugly deprecated red cube meshes making them invisible in game and such no more ruining player immersion
Note: if you are using MWSE-Lua you may want to give my more recent MWSE-Lua Anti Deprecated mod a try instead, it should work regardless of how many times they keep adding the ugiy meshes to different paths.
Usage: Install the content of 00 base folder to Data Files folder. This should replace the cube meshes with empty invisible ones
If you are a mod maker and want to edit them install the content of 01 Markers folder to Data Files. This should replace the cube meshes with markers so they are invisible in game but still visible in the construction set
Note: to ensure the replacement meshes override the original ugly ones, the file dates of the replacement meshes should be newer than the .bsa files containing the original ugly meshes. For this reason this mod has the file dates of the replacement meshes set in the future. Beware: turns out Morrowind.exe and the Construction Set are not able to process dates in the future after 2038 Unix Epoch. If the mod does not seem to work, it could be because the tool you used to extract the files from the archive has reset the dates, so check that they are still dated properly to be newer than the .bsa files containing the original ugly meshes and in case redate them or the .bsa accordingly
