Festive Balmora
was a pet project of mine that I have been working on-off for about a month now. It has undergone many, many iterations, of which this is the one that I'm most satisfied with. I landed on "Festive" because when the party is over and all the decorations are taken down, all that remains is good old Balmora.

The basic idea of this mod stems from two things: 1) the neon urban cyberpunk aesthetic that exists in games like Deus Ex and the like 2) my love for the rarely used and most colorful set of lights in the game: Ashlander Lanterns. Together, these two ingredients would help me achieve the specific tone I wanted to convey, but at the same time still retain the Hlaalu base architecture.

I went about doing this by identifying areas that would benefit from this "treatment" the most, then I got to work. When playing with this, you will notice how I only tried to decorate areas that are affluent (most notably on the bridges and on various shops in Labor Town). This was done to preserve the delicate class disparity found in vanilla Balmora.

This is not meant to be lore-friendly, rather the realization of my ideas before they evaporate.

I'm not sure if this is fully complete, however I wanted to release this for the public to see and leave feedback which ultimately will help me decide what to do next.

Perhaps Suran will be next, I'm not sure.
