Great Idea! Was wondering if this would be compatible/ have interaction with mods like Abot's Water Life and or Kellick Stormcrow's "Stormrider" Ship/ Boat mod?
Do the 'arrows' have any effect on collision? i.e. could I accidentaly run into them with my boat, triggering the crash detector and thus damaging my boat?
I also noticed you have made the currents directional in the editor (Up/Down, North, South, Southwest etc.) Can these be rotated to follow a river better, or is the direction 'set in stone'?
Again, great concept. Would love to see more mods adding water/ sailing/ fishing functionality and immersion to this great game.
It will Interact with any npc or creature that is swimming.
The arrows have no collision and can only be seen in the construction set. They have the same settings as other editor markers such as the sound activators or leveled creatures for example.
The latest version has done away with the hard coded directions and now use the direction of rotation of the marker
Interesting idea, maybe it's good it doesn't affect corpses and containers :D, it could made finding them kinda hard without deployment of coastal watch.
