About this mod

Adds a new location occupied by nine master trainers, who can train you in every skill in the game. They also double as enchanting/repair/spellmaking services, sell skill-increasing books, and buy magic items. In addition, this place contains loads of gold and enchanted items. Both NPCs, items, and the location are lore-friendly.

OVERVIEW

This is a lore-friendly cheat mod that prioritizes immersion and follows Morrowind's Middle Eastern aesthetic direction. It adds a special lamp in the Fields of Kummu, right beside the Shrine of Humility. When you try to pick it up, this artifact sucks you inside of itself. The lamp's interior serves as a home for nine elder Dunmer. They're so ancient they don't remember much about their past but still carry vast knowledge about various skills. The ancients also offer enchanting/repair/spellmaking services, sell skill-increasing books, and buy magic items. In addition, if you pay attention to their dialogues, you can get a set of enchanted Djinn items (armor, clothes, and weapon) and a hefty sum of gold. The lamp also has some spare guest rooms for you to rest, and the whole place is neatly furnished.

Mod comes in two versions: for the base Morrowind and for the Tribunal expansion. The Tribunal version simply prevents the Dark Brotherhood Assassins from spawning inside of the lamp.

INSTALLATION

Drop either "Magic Lamp.esp" or "Magic Lamp (Tribunal).esp" in your "Data Files" folder, depending on whether or not you play with Tribunal expansion. Choose only one of those files!

UNINSTALLATION

Delete the aforementioned ".esp" files from your "Data Files" folder.

CONFLICTS

This plugin should work with most mods because it simply adds a separate location and a bunch of NPCs. But it may conflict with a mod that changes the Fields of Kummu exterior cell since the access point to the new location is placed there. The Tribunal version may also conflict with a mod that changes the Dark Brotherhood Assassins script. In that case, you can simply use the base game version of my plugin.
