About this mod
From a Reddit User; "You should make some quests for Vos, I was always disappointed by how little there is to do there because of how cool the location is." So I did. Secrets of Vos adds 27 new NPCs and 4 quests to the town of Vos and only requires Morrowind.esm to play.

Secrets of Vos V2 requires Tribunal and Bloodmoon as well.
V2 does not change the quests or add anything new except making it dependent on the expansions to solve a technical issue.
- Installation
- Just drop the ccm-SecretsOfVos.esp into your data files folder and check the box next to it in your favorite mod manager or the launcher.
- If you have other mods that alter Vos, there still should be no conflict as long as they did not alter 1 specific vanilla npc or change all the cells.
- More technical notes can be found near the bottom of the readme.
- Quests
- There are 4 main quests in Secrets of Vos
- Only by talking to people everywhere, inside and outside, are you going to be able to start any of them. One of them is even behind a locked door for example.
- There are 27 new NPCs added by Secrets of Vos
- The locations of the NPCs are Vos, Tel Vos, Hla Oad, Gnaar Mok, Gnisis, Khuul, Dagon Fel, Tel Aruhn, Tel Branora and Tel Mora. I left a location out and which interiors npcs might be in as to not give any spoilers.
- Only a couple of interior cells were altered. The rest only adds npcs to the exterior or interior cells. I only altered 1 vanilla npc's dialog and that npc had no quests or unique dialog of any kind before I wrote new dialog.
- Many of the npcs are removed from the game after they are no longer needed as the quests progresses. I like cleaning it up afterwards.
- Spoilers aren't going to be publicly posted
- I would really appreciate it if no one else does this either. You can direct message me on Nexus or Reddit and I'll be glad to help. I just don't want to spoil the quests for those that like to discover everything on their own. But we all get stuck sometimes, so feel free to contact me if you do.

- Recommended Mods to make Vos more interesting You won't find these on Nexus
- Vos Plantation Adds a player house near Vos with slaves.
- Exotics Boutique The sisters there sell clothing and armor for females and tapestries, cushions, filled soul gems and more. The man in the other room sells paintings and weapons. The clothing, weapons, armor and tapestries are all unique and very well done. There is even a dual-wielding set of swords for sale. Yin and Yang.
- Ruby Inn Very unique tavern, dancing girls and some very interesting npcs to meet. Has a room for rent too.
- I know these mods work well together added to the vanilla game and are compatible with Secrets of Vos. I can't speak for adding other Vos altering mods. However Vos Plantation is also included in Vos Expansion, which I haven't tried. I am worried it would conflict with the Ruby Inn and Exotics Boutique mods and I'm keeping those in my game.
- More Technical Notes Bug reports are welcome on the mod post tab as long as they don't include spoilers. If they do, DM me please. My Nexus and Reddit profiles are linked above.
- I have done a lot of testing and gone through all the quests myself and fixed the bugs I did encounter. Most were very minor. Like in a results box I used player-additem instead of player->additem or used the wrong conditions on a dialog choice.
- One problem I encountered involves creating new dialog. I right clicked in greetings, selected "new" and started writing dialog for the npcs I was creating. Somehow this altered the ID for another vanilla greeting. Solved in V2 with the help of Abot.
- As a result, if you open the mod in the construction kit, you will get a warning similar to the one you get when you activate the expansion esms about a dialog conflict. Solved in V2 with the help of Abot.
- That vanilla dialog was not actually altered in any way. So click cancel for "yes to all" the same as you do when loading the expansions. Solved in V2 with the help of Abot.
- Also as a result, if you make even one change to Secrets of Vos in your CS, it will add the 72 evil GMSTs and make it a dirty mod. You will need to clean it using testool or whatever program you use before playing. If anyone wants to help me solve that, it would be greatly appreciated. Solved in V2 with the help of Abot.
- Right now, it is clean. I cleaned it with testool. So no GMSTs, no error messages when starting a game or loading a save. When loading a save it may say the data has been altered or whatever that message is, but safe to say okay and load your save. Solved in V2 with the help of Abot.
- During testing, I saved, hit exit, and fixed bugs many times, then loaded the saves with no problems and the fixes working for me.
