Hi, I have a problem with the "MO Concept art Gnisis - Lightweight1". When I activate it, I get errors for a couple of missing things:
- Anything below the Meshes/rp/... folder (I just don't have this folder) - Meshes/RR/Gnisis_arch_B.nif (I just have Gnisis_arch.nif)
Am I doing something wrong? Thx in advance
EDIT: Oh I see. One needs to download RandomPal's version of Concept art Gnisis Leightweight first in order to get the required files and then just use your ESP file instead of his? Maybe this should be added to the description?
I edited a version of BCOM to fit my mod but it does not look right and I would have to edit it every time BCOM got updated. I have a version of Lightweight Concept Art Gnisis that is compatible with Fort Darius. You could use that and download each town mod you like from RandomPal.
Do you plan to add any patches to support Gnisis overhaul mods?
* I tested with Gnisis Expanded (G:Ex) (which I'm currently using) - this has clipping issues. * Gnisis Expanded Remaster this is variant of the above that should have the same issues. * Lightweight Concept Art Gnisis from the description it sound like it's using the same fort design as the Gnisis Expanded versions. * Heart of the Velothi - Gnisis is another overhaul, looking at the screenshots I can't really tell if it needs patching or not.
Heart of the Velothi is the most popular so I will see if I can make them work together or Lightweight Concept Art Gnisis which is a update of HOTV. Gnisis Expanded Remaster and Gnisis Espanded will not work.
I uploaded a edited version of Concept art Gnisis Lightweight which works with Fort Darius. RandomPal did a great job on that mod and is the best for Gnisis.
I'm not going to use your mod but the only way to endorse it is to download it so.....
ENDORSED
Edit : I think it would be better if you just pointed people to "Lightweight Concept Art Gnisis" for them to download and grab it's assets and patches etc. Your compatibility patch should just include your esp's and your assets. Lees work for you now and in future.
Edit 2 : I think you misunderstood me. These are the requirements for "Lightweight Concept Art Gnisis"
?"Improved Inns Expanded" by RandomPal (https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/48610) Using the provided PATCH "Improved Inns Expanded_Gnisis Patch.esp" Original assets, (esp, Icons, Meshes & Textures) from "Improved Inns Expanded" are required.
"Entertainers Expanded" by Ian (https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/44764) Using the provided PATCH "Improved Inns Expanded + EE_Gnisis Patch.esp" Original assets, (esp, Icons, Meshes & Textures) from "Entertainers Expanded" are required
.AND added to this is the fact that "Improved Inns Expanded" has gone through an update since the latest release of "Lightweight Concept Art Gnisis v3.3" (which incidentally after comparing file hashes is what you have included)
I just fear for you that you may be opening yourself up to lots of issues in future.
May I suggest you do the following and combine the 2 as a BAIN installer. I've created my own ReadMe based on your mod and it includes how I have these changes. I'm guilty of being OCD. I do it with all mods I download.
