Question 1: So if I understand this correctly, I install this for base game+DLC and both merged sound mods?
Question 2: Do I literally copy and paste the 00 ASE Core+01 ExpSnds Core into the Data folder or do I copy over the folders for Sound/Music etc? (Some mods use the specfic folder structure is why I ask the seemingly noob question. I rather ask BEFORE testing it out, as to not wreck my game)
Question 3: For the stuff I have listed to add(assuming it is correct). Do I need to modify the Morrowind.ini file with the listed loops? Also, where if it matters in the list, do I add this entry?
00 ASE Core 01 ExpSnds Core 02 ASE Expanded 3.5 (AtmosphericSnd+ExpandedSnd-3.5.esp) and I think also the .mit files into the Data folder.
I think I need to add to the Morrowind.ini file:
[Weather] Minimum Time Between Environmental Sounds=5.0 Maximum Time Between Environmental Sounds=15.0 [Weather Clear] Ambient Loop Sound ID=plx_WA_clear [Weather Cloudy] Ambient Loop Sound ID=plx_WA_cloudy [Weather Foggy] Ambient Loop Sound ID=plx_WA_foggy [Weather Overcast] Ambient Loop Sound ID=plx_WA_overcast [Weather Rain] Rain Loop Sound ID=Rain Ambient Loop Sound ID=plx_WA_rain [Weather Thunderstorm] Thunder Sound ID 0=plx_WE_thunder0 Thunder Sound ID 1=plx_WE_thunder1 Thunder Sound ID 2=plx_WE_thunder2 Thunder Sound ID 3=plx_WE_thunder3 Rain Loop Sound ID=plx_WE_heavyrain Ambient Loop Sound ID=plx_WA_thunder [Weather Ashstorm] Ambient Loop Sound ID=plx_WA_ashstorm [Weather Blight] Ambient Loop Sound ID=plx_WA_blightstorm [Weather Snow] Ambient Loop Sound ID=plx_WA_overcast
The mod is packaged to use MOD Organizer, this way you do not need to copy any files yourself, I *strongly* suggest you use that to install this and other mods. The MIT file is for use with MINI.EXE, it changes the INI file with what you pasted in your message. I think you have it correctly with 00 ASE Core, 01 ExpSnds Core, 02 ASE Expanded 3.5.
Hello, I use AtmosphericSoundEffects-3.3-Tribunal-BM-Ignored-NoMusic esp. As I understand it, there is no need to modify the ini file (section expanded sound ini loops) for ASE 3.3?
The splashing waves sound at the intro are staticky and loud. Can't help but think its a 'me' issue, though I've no other sound mods installed (using BCOM).
You do not need ASEE if you use AURA, since AURA is like a Super ASEE. Not sure about Character Sound Overhaul, but ASEE does change some character sounds, so you probably do not need ASEE if you use Character Sound Overhaul.
I've started playing the game with ASEE enabled, and I've seen an error (harmless) about a missing global script (?) twice so far when loading a game that was saved in an interior cell in which weather was playing (i.e. it was raining outside). I have been unable to reproduce this intentionally. I suspect this happens because I use "dontsaveobject" but there really is no reason to save the objects, it creates other issues when we do. So if anyone gets an error about a PLX_IN_xxx script when they load a saved game, and they can reliably reproduce this, pls let me know how, so I can investigate fixing it.

Thank you for your time!
Regards,
I have a question similar to below but I did not see a definitive answer.
Is this mod compatible with AURA and Character Sound Overhaul ? I am following Sijourn's guide and it only mentions those two.
Does this mod safely work with those two ? Are there any clashes ? And if it does work, is it safe to install it after the other two? I am using MO2.
many thanks!
V
