Since my first time swimming in this game I've wanted to use jump/crouch to travel vertically in water - it seemed like an oversight not to include that movement and my fingers kept pressing the buttons even when it didn't work. With this mod finally that functionality is implemented. Except when Water Breathing is active. Then it stops working on my install. Oh well, can now ascend faster while drowning; just another mini-game created.

Would be lovely to be able to dive in with Sneak and dive out with Jump as well.

A quick note, it seems the control to go down (only tested while swimming so far) doesn't work when the MCP option to toggle the sneak key instead of holding it is enabled.

    Otherwise, great mod!

That shouldn't affect key press detection. This sounds like a bug in MWSE. Thanks for the report.

Hi, as of yesterday, I can confirm the issue is fixed.

This mod works like a charm. Thanks again for making it!

Doesn't work for me, tried different things. Mod Config menu is there, but no effect. Tried updating the script extender via the update exe, still nothing. Tried downloading the latest nightly build directly - nothing. I'm using Mod Organizer 2. Any thoughts? I'd really like this mod to work. :/

This is a great improvement to the basic levitation animation. Now, if only you could go forward without the walking animation...

Levitation speed is directly tied to the magnitude of the spell. Swimming speed is based on a combination of encumbrance, athletics, acrobatics, and agility.

Does that make this incompatible with mods such as Wings of Will? and Wading in Water? Looking briefly at your code, I think it should be fine, as both those mods use the calcMoveSpeed event.

      They should be fully compatible.

Thank you for this. I've always hated how you needed to look directly up or down while levitating to go in that direction.
