Can you upload a version (v1.0?) that doesn't require OAAB? Because whenever I try to install OAAB, the game keeps complaining about missing resources, even though I installed it correctly (it's not related to this mod). I really want this mod, but don't want to bother with OAAB.
OAAB data works perfectly fine, if you're having troubles with it I'm 100% sure it's just not installed properly. Almost all of my mods are OAAB dependent and it's an amazing repository, if something is not working you can write to the OAAB team and they'll help you or fix the issues (if there's issues, that is).
How do you not reinstall OAAB properly? All you do is copy and paste into Data Files and still the game comes up errors about how this plugin (Properly Clothed) does not have the correct master file. Does the previous version add items to levelled lists and around the world? Otherwise I will download that one because it does not need OAAB.
Every time a master file changes date/time, the game is going to warn you about it but it's not an actual problem. You can either ignore it or update the master file with wrye mash.
Missing resources (the issue the original comment mentioned) is a different thing and can only happen if you fail to properly install OAAB.
OK I see, thanks. But none of the clothes are showing up on NPCs. I've been to Gnaar Mok and Ald'ruhn and I haven't seen the shipmasters and silt strider guys wear anything new. I installed OAAB and this mod, both are enabled.
It's comical how many people complain about their s#*! not being installed correctly. It's A dead giveaway that they still haven't migrated to OpenMW yet... Smh
You are starting to turn my love for you into hate simply because the sheer number of goodies you are continuously uploading is making my mod list to get far too close to the dreaded 255 esp.
And it can only get worse.
So I used to love you, but I now hate you, but somehow still love you and... Damnit, I don't know how to describe it. Somebody call Taylor Swift.
The OpenMW FAQ claims a 2147483646 limit. Considering that there aren't 2 billion Morrowind mods, this seems to be a effectively infinite amount of eps.
Running 600 plugins atm, 800 mods in total. Most of them are minor mods. Like things that replace textures or add new weapons or armor, and tbh, at this point, I'm simply installing mods for the sake of it. Testing conflicts and messing around with way too many mods is half the fun of modding. lol
The mod works for me and is great, but I still get the Warning about missing master files. You have mentioned that one can fix that by changing the date/time in the master files. How does one do that?
Ran into a bit of an odd issue (OpenMW 0.46): * Nothing changed when using a save where I had already visited all the strider ports and boat docks (that I tested with). * Using a new character that hadn't visited any of the locations worked properly and I could see the NPCs in their new outfits.
I tested killing (sethealth 0) and resurrecting (resurrect) the Ald-ruhn siltstrider driver, this reset him and he switched to his new gear. So this may be a viable, though tedious workaround if I can figure out which NPCs got updated and where they are located.
Waiting 4 days (indoors) for the Ald-ruhn cell to reset had no effect.
Is there some better way to get the mod to take effect?
It's just how it is. The equipment of an npc remains on the savefile so the only way is to start a new game. You could use the enchanted editor to delete the reference to the npcs in theory but yeah.
Interesting, I’m surprised someone hasn’t come up with a mod that allows npcs to change their clothes every few days because... ew don’t they ever do laundry?? Lol
Really enjoy seeing a bit more of the weird diversity of Morrowind outfits on the npcs. One of the main things I liked about MWSE Random NPC, though not using it currently so this looks great. Quick question: when you say this includes Wear A Mask functionality does it replace Von Djangos' mod or work alongside it with other npcs? Cheers

I will probably release some sort of mega merge down the road so the load order will go down again:)
