About this mod

Bound weapons' damage and bound armor's AR scales with Conjuration or Willpower. Only affects vanilla and Magicka Expanded bound items.

OVERVIEW
Have you ever felt that bound items in Morrowind were way too good? This mod addresses that very problem in a logical way, by scaling their attributes by your Conjuration (or Willpower). At 100, the items are as in Vanilla, and with lower values they are that percent of the original. Ex: A bound helm has 75 Armor Rating, at 50 Conjuration it now has 38. This is also applied to any enemy who uses bound items and has the appropriate stats.

NOTES
-There is an MCM, which lets you pick Conjuration or Willpower, and apply a simple multiplier to all values, along with having your companions use your stats (for Bestow Binding compatibility)
-Stats are recalculated on drawing a weapon, or when the game determines Armor Rating (re-equipping, among other things). Do this again to get MCM values to be applied.
-The only values affected are min/max damage and Armor Rating. Speed and condition seemed silly to change
-Morrowind is weird. Unlike other items, weapons and armor are not cloned, meaning by changing the attributes of the bound item you use, it changes them forever any time that item is summoned. This usually does not matter since it will just be overwritten by the right values, but can create edge cases if you and an enemy use the same bound item at once. I have gotten this to not be a problem for armor, but weapons are still directly modified.
-Also because of this, I cannot reference the generalized original values of items to get the new ones. As such, this mod only affects Vanilla and Magicka Expanded items, since their original values are known numbers the mod can use every time. Other mods' items, however, will lack these features.
-From 1.4 on, I also have support for Bestow Binding's new arrows. Given how few mods made new bound stuff, I'd be happy to throw them in if someone lets me know they exist.
-Getting a Golden Saint to cast Bound Helm seems to crash the game, but that happens without this mod (so don't go asking me to fix it).

INSTALLATION
Unzip, and follow the folders. Or, use a mod manager.

REMOVAL
From working with Lua magic in the past, I can say with some confidence that you should be able to remove this mod just fine, and all bound gear will return to normal. If this is not the case, however, then you can just re-enable the mod, set your Conjuration/Willpower to 100 and MCM multiplier to 10, then cast all bound spells corresponding to the affected items.
